Why Connectr

The energy transition requires a leap in scale, which requires the accelerated application and scaling up of innovations. Connectr takes care of this with the help of an Innovation Program, Innovation Lab, Shared Facilities and the Core Organization. Innovations are immediately tested, demonstrated and put into practice from Connectr, in order to grow from there. By realizing an impact on both the energy transition and the (regional) economy, and by connecting human capital to technology, we ensure sustainable solutions.

We are facing an enormous sustainability challenge worldwide. In order for us as a country to adhere to international climate agreements, every effort must be made. This also applies at a regional level: for a climate-neutral Gelderland in 2050, acceleration is needed now.

Innovationprogram

Innovation lab

The Connectr Innovation Lab at Industrial Park Kleefse Waard (IPKW) will be an attractive place, where all players in the energy cluster physically meet to collaborate and accelerate each other's growth. The Connectr Core Organization and part of the Shared Facilities are also concentrated in this location.

Shared Facilities

Connectr offers companies access to a series of special facilities. Such as workshops in which consortia of companies and knowledge institutions can work together on new products and solutions. And such as state-of-the-art technical equipment, to test and validate innovations, as an important step towards scaling up and industrialization.
