Energy mix in practice
During the Arnhem Electricity Week (AEW), the TES community of Connectr comes together for a practice-oriented morning session at the demofield. AEW focuses on innovation in energy and electrification and therefore provides the ideal setting to jointly explore the energy mix on the construction site.
Within the TES community (Temporary Energy Systems), public and private parties collaborate on smart, clean, and feasible energy solutions for temporary applications, such as in construction and infrastructure. During this meeting, practice is central: what already works, what challenges do we encounter, and what is needed to scale up further?
We start at the stage on the outdoor area of AEW and then move onto the site. An important part is the visit to the charging plaza at Cleantech Park Arnhem. Although it is not yet fully operational, this provides a clear picture of developments in practice and the choices involved. An explanation will be provided from within the community.
After returning to the demofield, we explore innovations at various exhibitors. Here you will see concrete applications that are directly relevant for temporary energy systems and emission-free construction.
We conclude the morning with a joint wrap-up and networking lunch.
In the afternoon, the final symposium of the Emission-Free Network Infrastructure (ENI) will take place. Participants of the community meeting can register for this separately to further deepen their knowledge of emission-free construction and the latest developments within the network.
